NASA is making a new effort to get not only their message to the public, but also their audio and video.
On YouTube, there is a NASA channel called ReelNASA. There are a lot of really neat videos archived there...
On iTunes, there is a NASA podcast channel with 38 different podcasts available.

Meeting the Mythbusters...
I was very excited to learn that the Mythbusters crew was coming to the Marshall Space Flight Center. They were in town to test some myths about planting a flag in simulated lunar soil, in a vacuum chamber...I went over to the building they were shooting in and just hung around because I am a fan of the show and I also wanted to learn about how they shot their video. I introduced myself to Grant, Tory and Kari and snapped some photos...very cool...

An American Hero (and me)
This is Scott Carpenter and me..
I was so excited to meet this gentleman because he is the second American to orbit the earth!
Mr. Carpenter is one of the original seven astronauts selected in 1959 for Project Mercury. I was lucky enough to get to met him at a 50th Anniversary of NASA spaceflight celebration on January 31st, 2008. He flew into space on May 24th, 1962, atop the Mercury-Atlas7 rocket for a three-orbit science mission that lasted nearly five hours. His Aurora 7 spacecraft attained a maximum altitude of 164 miles and an orbital velocity of 17,532 miles per hour.

13 months?
Wow, a lot can happen in the 13 months since my first and so far only post...
I went from a happily married man to a not married man.
I went from a family of four to a family of one and sometimes three.
I still work for NASA and I still shoot a lot of cool video, but somehow the world seems a bit dimmer these days.
They say time heals all wounds...how much time will be needed to heal the wounds of an almost 13 year marriage?
My "wife" says the 13 years wasn't wasted, we DO have 2 beautiful boys...and that is certainly true. I just can't help but feel used by the whole experience...
Now it's time for me to find out who "me" really is...I know I've got to be more than my wifes husband.
